Alura In-Ze is a Kryptonian scientist and the mother to Kara Zor-El. Her husband Zor-El is the brother to Jor-El, Kal-El's father. Together they survived Krypton's destruction when they were abducted by Brainiac inside the bottle city of Kandor. Eventually she would grow on to play a larger political role in New Krypton.
